Description
This lab-style course helps you design your first independent train journey across Europe without feeling overwhelmed. You will start by choosing a realistic region or route based on your time, interests, and seasonal factors. We compare rail passes and point‑to‑point tickets, showing you when each option makes more sense and how to avoid hidden fees. You will learn how to read train timetables, understand ticket classes, and identify which routes require reservations. Step by step, you will build a multi‑city itinerary, balancing travel days and rest days so you do not burn out. We show you how to pick train‑friendly cities, book accommodation near stations, and plan local transport from the platform to your bed. You will practice using route‑planning tools and official rail apps, then save your finished plan into a personal travel notebook. There is also a section on food and daily life on the rails, including how to eat cheaply, store luggage, and handle connections. Templates for itineraries from 7 to 21 days are included so you can either copy them or mix and match to create your own version. By the end, you will have a specific, timed itinerary with trains, stays, and daily ideas ready to book and follow with confidence.
